About this planner

A small, calm year planner.

Built for a parent and a daughter who wanted weekends to feel intentional rather than improvised — without the pressure of expensive day trips every week.

How it works

The site is split into three small experiences. The home page shows the year as a scrolling carousel of weekends, focused on the current one. The catalogue lets you browse every activity with filters. Each activity has its own page with materials, steps, and recommendations.

The year carousel

The year is broken into 49 weekend slots, each assigned an activity. The card for the current weekend is centred and emphasised; you can see two cards either side and scroll to look further ahead or back.

The catalogue

Filter by where you want to be (home, park, local area), how much you want to spend (free, low, moderate), the type (creative, sporty, educational, relaxed, indoor, outdoor) or season. Every filter is optional — combine them or use search to find something specific.

Activity pages

Each activity follows the same standard format: an image placeholder with key facts (time, age, cost, where), a short description, the materials you'll need with suggested links to find them online, step-by-step instructions, and recommendations split between the parent and the kid.
